By using this website, you agree to the Terms and Conditions as set out below:

1.0 General usage of this website
1.1 Any information contained on this site was correct at the time of publishing. Whilst every effort is made to keep that information up to date, errors do occur, for which we will not be held liable.
1.2 All prices quoted, are in Australian Dollars and include GST. Any Savings quoted are based on our recommended retail prices.
1.3 Colour samples should only be used as an indication of the actual colour as the way screens are calibrated (brightness, contrast) vary significantly between devices.
1.4 All Information, Logos, Pictures, and designs are the property of Sydney Furniture Factory and are protected by Copyright. Content may not be reproduced, published or modified unless with written permission from Sydney Furniture Factory.
1.5 Dimensions are indicative only. Furniture is hand made, and as such, dimensions can vary slightly. Always allow extra space around the furniture.
1.6 Unless otherwise stated, any accessories pictured are not included.

2.0 Ordering
2.1 All goods are to be paid in full prior to pick up or delivery.
2.2 Upon completing an online order, you will receive an email with an order number and an order summary. A staff member will process your order within 24 hours and confirm the details in that order.
2.3 Lead times quoted are our best estimate based on the average time taken by previous orders. Occasionally, unforeseen delays occur as a result of raw materials being on back order. We will take all reasonable steps to make you aware of any such delay upon us being made aware of such a delay.
2.4 Payments can be made online by PayPal, Visa, or MasterCard, or Electronic Bank Transfer (Internet Banking). Any balances outstanding must be paid prior to delivery by Visa or MasterCard or Electronic Bank Transfer. Note: All transfers must be cleared prior to the order being picked up or delivered.
2.5 Orders ready for pickup or delivery will be stored for free for up to 14 days from the date we contact you, after which storage fees apply at the rate of $10 per seat per week. Storage fees will be debited against the deposit paid. If the deposit reaches nil or negative, we reserve to right to re-sell your order.
2.6 You have checked that the product is suitable for your needs, as we do not exchange.
2.7 Availability or In Stock indicates our current stock of that product in our warehouse (North St Marys). Stock is allocated on a first come first served basis. Sometime physical stock may vary from available stock online, in case of no physical stock; Half Price Furniture may refund your full deposit.

3.0 Delivery
3.1 If the premises does not have access to a lift and the delivery location is upstairs, the delivery driver may decline to carry the goods up all the way and the customer will be expected to organize this or will need to pay additional charge.
3.2 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that sufficient access and space to complete the delivery will be available. This includes ensuring your doorways are wide enough to fit the product in, the item can fit upstairs or in a lift (if required) and that there is nothing blocking the path of the delivery in hallways, stairwells or driveways.
3.3 It is important that someone is at home to receive the delivery of your purchase on the designated day. No specific time of delivery can be provided. A four hour time frame will be advised but cannot be guaranteed, we are not responsible for any delays. If no person is present to accept the goods on the scheduled delivery day, or the delivery is cancelled on the day of the scheduled delivery day, you will be charged for the non-delivery and a further charge for the re-delivery.
3.4 It is the customer’s responsibility to allow sufficient access for delivering the lounge.
3.5 Quoted delivery fee is for drop off to a ground level with sufficient access. Drivers do not unwrap items or take rubbish away unless specified.
3.6 All packing and wrapping materials are your responsibility and will be left at the premises (delivery address).
3.7 We make no representations about the Carrier other than those contained in this document, and we are not responsible for delivery by the Carrier. Any damage to property must be reported to the Carriers delivery driver as our company is not liable for any property damage caused by the Carrier.
3.8 Delivery timings can be after business hours as well from 6A.M till 10P.M (approx.). The quoted rates are for ground floor (EASY ACCESS), standard deliveries. A standard delivery is the product going through the ground floor, main front entrance of the home (EASY ACCESS).3.9 For unpaid orders, someone must be available to accept, sign and pay for the order.
For fully paid orders someone must be available to receive and sign for the order, however if the order to be left.
Failing to receive the order after confirming the time frame will incur a re-delivery fee. The re-delivery fee will be calculated based on the suburb and will be advised prior to the re-delivery. A written confirmation is required to proceed with the re-delivery.
3.8 Sorry we are unable to move or dispose of old furniture.

4.0 Product Variation
Generally, a new product may feel stiffer or firmer, back cushions may be fuller than normal all as a result of it being brand new. Cushions and supports need to go through the natural break in period. This period will vary depending on the usuage the product will receive.

5.0 Cancellation, Product Returns and Refunds
Cancellation of orders that are ready for delivery or are already in production will result in the loss of the deposit paid (normally 30-50%).
Returns / Change of Mind
At Our discretion, returns will only be accepted within 7 days of dispatch and the product must be unopened, unused, and undamaged. A 20% restocking fee will apply plus associated shipping charges with the return.
Any Non Stock items, Special orders, Made to order, Mattress & Bases and clearance items are not eligible for return or change of mind.
A Refund or store credit is available subject to the above criteria being met. All refunds must be processed by the same method that the original payment was made by. Allow upto 7 days for refunds to be processed.

6.0 Clearance, Ex-Display, End of Line, Limited Editions, Special Offers

6.1 Any offer is only valid while stocks last.

6.2 Any offer is not available in conjunction with any other special, discount, promotional offer unless otherwise stated.

6.3 No Returns, Exchanges or Refunds on Clearance, Ex-Display, End of Line, Limited Editions or Special Offer items unless required by law.

6.4 By placing an order you have checked that the product and its condition, if not brand new, are suitable for your needs as we don’t offer refund or exchange in case of you just simply changed your mind.

6.5 Please be aware that if an item is sold off the floor or is discounted more than 30%, it is sold “as is”. Please check all goods carefully to ensure you are happy with the state they are in, if not brand new, at purchase time. All ex-display or discounted stock is sold without any warranty.

7.0 T&C’s for 30 Days Price Guarantee
7.1 Price Match
7.1.1 The item should be identical (brand, colour, material, size etc).

7.1.2 PBG starts from date of purchase.

7.1.3 The matching store should have a physical store here in Australia, and the stock must be ready for pickup immediate.

7.2 Exclusions
7.2.1 Commercial or Bulk purchase quantities price

7.2.2 Stock Liquidators.

7.2.3 Cashback and coupon offers.

7.2.4 Floor stocks, seconds or display items.

7.2.5 Our own prices and we change promotions regularly.

7.2.6 Pricing errors.

7.2.7 Damaged, Used or refurbished Items.

7.2.8 Offers on Special Days (Boxing, Black Friday and Xmas Sale).

7.2.9 Offers from 3rd party, Marketplace or online vendors not located in Australia.

Half Price Furniture Standard Warranty does not apply to products sold as seconds, floorstock or clearance, repaired products, or products with a defect which has been drawn to the customer’s attention before purchase. Additionally, the following warranty exclusions will apply if:

  • The product or component has not been directly purchased through Half Price Furniture
  • normal wear and tear . In this regard, please note that the following may occur as a result of natural and normal usage:
    1. Leathers and fabrics will fade and crease;
    2. Foam and fillings will soften and form the shape of the user over time;
    3. depending on the covering and the degree of use, the covering materials, cushion fillings and suspension may need to be replaced periodically at the purchaser’s expense;
    4. Scars, marks and differing pore density and colour are natural characteristics of leather;
    5. Leather and fabric products are upholstered by hand and therefore, the size and weight of these products may have minor variations of up to 5% from the sample products or from any product specifications you have been quoted,
  • Modifications or repairs have been made to the product or component
  • Product tags or serial numbers have been removed or altered in any way
  • The product or component has been mishandled or used inappropriately, or in a manner which may be deemed abnormal to its prescribed use
  • The product or component has not been properly cared for and maintained as outlined throughout the relevant care and maintenance guides provided
  • The product or component has become defective or damaged due to pets
  • The product or component has become defective or damaged due to spills including acid, solvent, dyes and other corrosive materials
  • The product or component has become defective or damaged as a result of fading, burns, bleaching, stains or UV damage by way of sunlight, chemicals, other materials or other natural phenomena (unless stated otherwise)
  • The product or component has become defective or damaged due to misuse, commercial use, improper handling or in a manner which is greater than, or exceptional to normal domestic use
  • The product or component has become defective or damaged due to improper handling or transportation when Pick Up or Collection is opted
  • The product or component has become defective or damaged due to improper unpacking and/or assembly e.g. cuts caused by utility knives upon unpacking
  • It is important to note that pilling is not a fabric defect or fault, and is not covered under warranty. … Pilling is a normal occurrence caused by wear and tear, and does not affect the durability or functionality of the fabric. It is easily removable
  • The warranty against defects only applies to products  that are used for normal domestic purposes and excludes products used for commercial purposes.
  • Products used for commercial purposes are not covered by any warranty. 
  • Tables used for commercial purposes, such as restaurants, cafes or bars, on common property, short term apartments or hotel rooms are not covered under warranty

Defects which arise as the result of normal wear and tear will not be covered. Any defect which has already been explained or described at the point of purchase will not be covered. Characteristics and properties of natural materials including leather, fabric, timber, stainless steel and aluminium among others are not considered to be defects, and form part of this exclusion.

This warranty is not transferable. It is limited to the original purchaser specified in the original sales order at the original delivery address.
